Cell Leader – Landing Gear

About the role

The Cell Leader for Landing Gear will drive safety, quality and operational excellence on the shop floor. Reporting to senior management, you will guide a team of technicians to deliver high‑quality components while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture through Tier meetings, toolbox talks, Gemba walks and compliance with JHAs, PPE and work practices.
• Ensure work follows CMMs, planning documents, technical data and quality procedures; promptly escalate safety, quality or tooling issues.
• Lead productivity initiatives, identify waste, and drive improvements using Standard Work, 5S, Visual Management, KANBAN and QCPC.
• Support investigations, corrective actions, audits and other EHS/Quality initiatives.
• Oversee Senior Technicians in daily execution, set priorities, monitor cell performance and implement recovery plans when targets are missed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage safety and quality programs, and drive continuous improvement.
