Certified Drone Operator

About the role

Our client in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Certified Drone Operator to carry out drone‑based cleaning of building facades, glass, solar panels, roofs and other exterior structures across multiple project sites. The role combines precise UAV piloting with safety‑focused site operations to deliver high‑quality cleaning services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate commercial drones equipped with cleaning systems safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre‑flight and post‑flight inspections and maintain accurate flight logs.
• Conduct drone cleaning of facades, glass, solar panels, roofs and other exterior surfaces while monitoring weather and site conditions.
• Follow approved flight plans, operational procedures and company SOPs.
• Carry out site inspections, risk assessments and coordinate with clients, consultants and site representatives.
• Establish safety zones, obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with HSE and safety procedures.
• Inspect, maintain and perform routine preventive maintenance on drones, batteries, controllers, pumps, hoses and accessories.
• Document daily work, submit before‑and‑after photographs and prepare service completion reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation, Mechanical, Electrical or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of commercial drone operating experience.
• Experience with drone‑based façade or high‑rise cleaning, pressure‑washing equipment or industrial UAV operations is an advantage.
• Valid UAE drone/remote‑pilot licence preferred; candidates without a licence may be considered based on experience.
• Valid UAE driving licence is a plus.
