Chartered Accountant – Tax & Compliance (Immediate Joiner)

About the role

A leading tax and compliance firm in Dubai is seeking a Chartered Accountant to join immediately. The role involves end‑to‑end management of UAE VAT, corporate tax, FTA filings, audits and client compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns, amendments and voluntary disclosures on the FTA portal.
• Handle UAE Corporate Tax registration, filings and tax computations under the new UAE CT law.
• Manage ESR, UBO and Economic Substance Reporting filings for client entities.
• Assist clients during FTA audits, tax assessments and respond to queries or notices.
• Review client books, invoices and contracts for VAT and CT compliance.
• Prepare tax advisory notes, impact analyses and compliance reports.
• Liaise with the FTA, clients, auditors and internal teams to gather documentation.
• Maintain a compliance calendar, track deadlines and send client reminders.
• Support senior managers in tax planning, structuring and consulting projects.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, ACCA or CPA).
• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and FTA compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with the FTA portal for VAT filing, CT registration, ESR and voluntary disclosures.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Tax Law, VAT Law, Corporate Tax Law and IFRS.
• Immediate availability (max 15 days notice).
• Advanced Excel and experience with Tally, Zoho Books or similar ERP systems.
