Chef / Cook (Arabic Cuisine)

About the role

Talent Bridge HR Consultancy Dubai is looking for an experienced Chef / Cook specialising in Arabic cuisine to join its team in Dubai, UAE. The role is full-time and on-site, and involves leading kitchen operations with high standards while serving authentic dishes from diverse regions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of authentic Arabic dishes from different regions, showing expertise in their culinary traditions.
• Oversee kitchen operations, keeping the workflow efficient, recipes followed and quality consistent.
• Manage and motivate a kitchen team, building a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards throughout the kitchen.
• Implement and refine recipes, aiming for continuous culinary improvement.
• Manage inventory and control food costs within budget.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef / Cook in an Arabic restaurant or catering service.
• In-depth knowledge of traditional Arabic cuisine and diverse cooking techniques.
• Strong leadership qualities to guide and motivate a kitchen team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and management.
• Commitment to cleanliness and impeccable hygiene standards.
• Fluency in Arabic is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in knife work, spice blending, grilling, stewing and baking.
• Recipe implementation and refinement.
• Inventory management and cost control.
