Chef de Partie – Culinary Specialist

About the role

The Brooklyn Chop House on Yas Island is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join its kitchen team. This full‑time, onsite position involves preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the service team during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation, and quality standards.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and ensure proper food storage and thawing procedures.
• Maintain food logs, monitor portion control, and ensure accurate garnish and plating.
• Communicate menu specials, out‑of‑stock items, and excess food usage to chefs and service staff.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and performance coaching of kitchen staff.
• Follow all safety, security and hygiene policies, reporting any incidents or maintenance needs.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a similar kitchen role.
• Technical or vocational culinary education preferred.
• Ability to work long periods standing, lifting up to 25 lb, and performing repetitive motions.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
