Chef Tournant – Oriental Kitchen

About the role

The Cove Rotana Resort is seeking a skilled Chef Tournant to lead its Oriental Kitchen. This full‑time position involves creating authentic Oriental menus, training kitchen staff, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design Oriental‑inspired menus that align with the resort’s culinary concept.
• Train and mentor kitchen personnel on Oriental cooking techniques, recipes, and plating.
• Ensure every dish is prepared and served according to established recipes and quality benchmarks.
• Monitor inventory of Oriental ingredients, place orders, and manage stock levels.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan special Oriental‑themed events and promotions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Chef Tournant or similar role with a focus on Oriental cuisine.
• Deep knowledge of Oriental ingredients, flavors, and cooking methods.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to motivate and guide staff.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure kitchen environment.
• Creative mindset for developing new dishes that attract and retain guests.
