About the role

International Community Schools – Al Manhal Branch is seeking a dedicated Chemistry & Science Teacher for its high/secondary school. The role involves delivering the British Curriculum in chemistry and related science subjects, fostering curiosity and critical thinking among students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging chemistry and science lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and support academic development.
• Maintain a safe and well‑equipped laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with the Science Department to develop interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Education or a related field.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at secondary/high school level.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for science.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills in English.
• Commitment to student success and continuous professional growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency in delivering chemistry content to secondary students.
• Ability to design lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
