Chief Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented finance professional to join the opening team of Radisson Hotel Fujairah as Chief Accountant. In this senior accounting position you will be responsible for establishing robust financial controls and ensuring accurate reporting for the new property.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and income audit.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, forecasts and support the Director of Finance.
• Manage month‑end closing, ensuring all reconciliations, accruals and journal entries are completed on time.
• Review balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate and resolve outstanding items promptly.
• Maintain effective financial controls in line with company policies and UAE regulations.
• Support internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel accounting, preferably in a Chief Accountant or similar senior role.
• Strong knowledge of hotel finance procedures, UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑department collaboration.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements.
