Chief Concierge

About the role

The Chief Concierge leads the concierge, bell desk, doorman, valet and airport transportation teams at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, ensuring an exceptional and seamless guest experience in a luxury resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all concierge, bell desk, doorman, valet and airport transportation activities.
• Provide guests with accurate information on hotel services, local attractions, restaurants, medical facilities and tours.
• Promote the resort’s own food and beverage outlets as the first recommendation for dining.
• Maintain an orderly and welcoming lobby environment at all times.
• Prepare efficient work and vacation schedules for concierge, doorman and bell staff, considering occupancy forecasts and large group movements.
• Ensure staff are neat, punctual and perform tasks promptly and efficiently.
• Handle guest issues, liaising with department heads or senior management when needed.
• Develop, update and enforce departmental standards and procedures through on‑the‑job training.
• Conduct training needs analysis, design and implement training programmes.
• Lead performance appraisals, coaching, counseling and disciplinary actions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in concierge and front‑office operations within luxury hospitality.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong knowledge of local attractions, dining venues and transportation options.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet guest needs.
