Chief Risk Officer – ADGM Broker Dealer

About the role

The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) will design and oversee the risk management framework for Bybit’s broker‑dealer activities regulated in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Reporting to senior leadership, the CRO ensures material risks are identified, assessed and managed in line with the firm’s risk appetite and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain an enterprise risk management framework compliant with FSRA rules.
• Oversee risk governance across operational, market, liquidity, technology, cyber security, outsourcing, conduct and strategic risks.
• Monitor the firm’s risk profile, ensuring risks stay within approved appetite and tolerance levels.
• Provide independent oversight and challenge on business activities, client onboarding, trading operations, new products and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments, stress testing, scenario analysis and control effectiveness reviews.
• Prepare regular risk reports for the Board, Board Committees and senior management.
• Liaise with the FSRA on risk management matters, regulatory reviews and supervisory engagements.
