About the role
Anantara Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Chief Steward for its The Palm Dubai Resort in Dubai. The role establishes and maintains the stewarding department's systems and operating methods so that all other colleagues in the hotel can work effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise all Stewarding team members, facilities, operations and costs.
- Coordinate with hotel colleagues on maintaining par stocks and supplies, and approve storeroom requisitions.
- Ensure the cleanliness of all facilities and equipment.
- Schedule preventative maintenance work and coordinate with Engineering.
- Make sure team members follow health and safety standards, use and store chemicals properly and use required safety materials safely.
- Play an active, leading role in the hotel's energy conservation and environmental policies and practices.
