Civil Engineer

About the role

Al Ghurair Giga is looking for a skilled and detail‑oriented Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects such as roads, buildings, bridges, and water systems. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop infrastructure projects using engineering principles and specialized software.
• Prepare project plans, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
• Supervise construction activities, ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Review and approve project drawings and specifications.
• Identify risks and provide engineering solutions to problems.
• Monitor project progress and prepare status reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction or infrastructure projects (minimum 1 month).
• Strong understanding of local regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
