About the role
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that civil, structural, and architectural works meet the required quality standards and comply with approved drawings and specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of civil, structural, and architectural works.
- Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and method statements.
- Review and process WIR/IR, MIR, and QA/QC documentation.
- Inspect materials and confirm they meet approved submittals.
- Witness required site and laboratory tests.
- Identify non‑conformities, follow up NCRs and corrective actions.
- Monitor workmanship and overall construction quality.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams on quality matters.
- Maintain inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.
- Participate in snagging, de‑snagging, final inspection, and handover activities.
- Prepare quality reports and highlight critical quality issues to project management.
