Civil Engineer – Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with strong Quantity Surveying expertise to support our Projects & Engineering Department. The role involves analysing project requirements, preparing scopes of work, and delivering accurate cost estimates for both in‑house and outsourced capital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse project requirements and develop detailed scopes of work in coordination with engineers.
• Perform quantity take‑offs, cost estimation, and preparation of bills of quantities (BOQs).
• Prepare project briefs, quotation approval forms, and assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Support tendering processes, including preparation of specifications, technical evaluations, and preliminary labour, material, and equipment estimates.
• Provide technical advice on construction, refurbishment, and maintenance concepts, and liaise with contractors and consultants.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation for construction projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop accurate budgets and feasibility studies.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work with internal teams and external contractors.
