Civil Engineer Roads & Utilities – Arabic Speaker

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support roads and utilities projects in Dubai. The role involves close collaboration with the Resident Engineer/ARE, ensuring construction activities meet design specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer/ARE in daily site supervision.
• Monitor contractor performance and adherence to construction documents and local authority regulations.
• Review contractor submissions such as shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs.
• Provide on‑site direction and supervise inspection staff as directed.
• Track work progress, measure completed work, and report findings.
• Observe and enforce site safety practices.
• Monitor contractor resource allocation and support project close‑out documentation.
• Participate in health and safety initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on infrastructure, utilities, and road projects.
• Prior experience in Dubai and fast‑track projects is preferred.
• Fluent Arabic speaker (mandatory).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
