Civil Foreman – Bridge Construction

About the role

Waagner Biro Bridge Services is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to supervise daily civil works on bridge construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation projects across the UAE. You will lead site crews, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to meet project targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil works related to bridge projects.
• Lead site workers, allocate manpower, tools, and materials.
• Execute and monitor concrete works, structural repairs, formwork, reinforcement, waterproofing, and general civil maintenance.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, method statements, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with approved quality standards.
• Conduct regular site checks, report progress and issues, and maintain daily records.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and maintain safe site conditions.

Required profile

• Technical qualification or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a relevant trade (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Foreman on bridge construction or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Hands‑on experience with concrete repairs, structural works, reinforcement, formwork, and bridge maintenance.
• Valid UAE Manual Driving License.
