Civil Foreman - Building Construction

About the role

An experienced, hands-on Civil Foreman is sought with a minimum of 10 years of UAE experience in a main contracting company. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in building construction, high-rise towers and villa projects, and can supervise site activities, coordinate manpower and make sure work follows approved drawings, specifications and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at the project site.
• Manage and allocate manpower, including masons, carpenters, steel fixers and other site workers.
• Ensure work is done according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Monitor building, high-rise tower and villa project activities and work progress.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, subcontractors and other departments.
• Oversee concrete works, block works, plastering, formwork, reinforcement and finishing.
• Maintain quality standards and site safety compliance, and resolve site issues promptly.
• Ensure efficient use of manpower, materials, tools and equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of UAE experience as a Civil Foreman with a main contracting company.
• Proven hands-on experience in building construction, high-rise towers and villa projects; preferably involvement in at least one complete project from start to handover.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, site execution and construction drawings.
• Excellent site supervision and workforce coordination skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
