Civil Foreman – Site Supervision (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to lead and coordinate civil construction activities on a project site in Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. The role involves supervising daily works, managing labour and subcontractors, and ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, on schedule, and in line with approved drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day civil works including excavation, concrete, blockwork, plastering, tiling, finishing, drainage and related MEP coordination.
• Allocate tasks to workers, technicians and subcontractors and monitor productivity.
• Ensure work complies with approved drawings, method statements, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with site engineers, MEP teams and other stakeholders to avoid delays and rework.
• Monitor material, manpower, tools and equipment needs and report shortages.
• Inspect completed work for quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain site housekeeping and enforce proper use of PPE.
• Report daily progress, issues, manpower status and material requirements to the Site or Project Engineer.
• Assist in resolving civil‑MEP coordination issues and support project hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in civil construction and basic MEP coordination, preferably with a contracting company.
• Hands‑on experience in residential, villa or building projects in the UAE, especially Abu Dhabi.
• Diploma, ITI or technical certification in Civil Engineering/Construction (or strong practical site experience).
• UAE driving licence.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Good communication in English; Hindi/Urdu/Arabic is a plus.
