Civil Inspector – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled Civil Inspector to join its construction supervision team for a major infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that civil works are executed in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and health‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect civil construction works against drawings, plans, specifications and workmanship standards.
• Coordinate daily with the contractor’s foreman and report non‑conformances to the Resident Engineer.
• Process and track Inspection Requests (IRs) and maintain approval/rejection records.
• Arrange sampling and testing with other discipline inspectors and laboratories.
• Verify line, level and grade with surveyors for ongoing and completed works.
• Maintain daily site logs and support measurement records for day works.
• Interface with adjacent stakeholders to minimise construction impacts.
• Adhere to site HSE requirements and promote safe work practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising major infrastructure construction in the UAE/GCC.
• Proven ability to read and enforce drawings and specifications.
• Strong documentation and inspection reporting skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities in a site‑based environment.
