Civil Inspector

About the role

KEO Group is seeking a Civil Inspector to join its Abu Dhabi team on a temporary basis. The role involves ensuring that construction works comply with contract drawings, specifications, local codes and international best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors and take timely action.
• Review shop drawings against contract documents, specifications, and statutory requirements.
• Report any non‑conforming work to stakeholders and prepare non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
• Monitor quality, safety, health and environmental aspects on site, ensuring compliance with risk assessments.
• Maintain daily site records, including progress photos, and make them available for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance reports highlighting deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a civil or structural inspector in a construction environment.
• Strong understanding of contract specifications, local building codes and statutory regulations.
• Ability to assess quality and safety issues and communicate findings clearly.
