Civil Inspector – Roads & Infrastructure

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Civil Inspector specialized in roads and infrastructure to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will be responsible for continuous surveillance of construction activities, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect construction and maintenance of roads, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, landscaping and related improvements.
• Monitor drainage works, utilities installation, traffic control measures and lighting systems.
• Oversee installation of electrical equipment for traffic signals, ramp metering and street lighting.
• Manage irrigation, planting, roadway and overhead sign removal and installation.
• Install temporary and permanent signs and road delineation.
• Supervise building and facility construction and associated site development.
• Capture daily project photographs and maintain proper filing.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience supervising infrastructure projects, including road works and utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction specifications and civil inspection processes.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the capacity to work independently.
