Civil Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Civil Maintenance Engineer will coordinate civil and building maintenance activities across ADNOC owned properties, including office buildings, VIP villas and leased facilities in Abu Dhabi and Ruwais. The role ensures contractors meet contractual obligations, prepares technical feasibility studies and cost estimates, and supports preventive maintenance programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and administer maintenance contracts, monitor contractor performance against SLAs, KPIs and specifications.
• Develop and approve annual preventive maintenance programmes, reviewing monthly plans and ensuring timely execution.
• Guide Civil Supervisors on technical matters and verify that civil repair works are performed promptly and to professional standards.
• Assist in preparing technical specifications for tenders, evaluate contract provisions, and certify work completion for payment.
• Monitor implementation of Quality Management Systems, identify non‑conformities, and follow up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in design, construction and maintenance of multi‑storey buildings within a large organization.
