Civil Project Manager

About the role

Fisher HR is recruiting a Civil Project Manager based in Abu Dhabi. The role supports and leads civil and construction projects from planning through completion, coordinating site activities, resources and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support and/or lead civil and construction projects from planning through completion
• Coordinate site activities, manpower, materials, subcontractors and resources
• Monitor project progress, schedules, quality, HSE and overall execution
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and other project disciplines
• Review drawings, technical documents, specifications and construction requirements
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders
• Assist with planning, progress reporting, cost monitoring and resource planning
• Support management of changes, variations, claims and contractual requirements where applicable
• Coordinate procurement and material requirements
• Support testing, commissioning, punch-list closure, handover and closeout
• Identify site issues, risks and delays and prepare project reports and documentation
• Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, industrial, construction, infrastructure or related projects
• Experience in a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Construction Manager, Construction Superintendent, Site Manager or similar role
• Strong civil / structural construction experience
• Preferred: exposure to Oil & Gas facilities, pipelines, tanks, utilities, process facilities, industrial buildings and infrastructure
• Preferred: experience with EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants or major Oil & Gas clients, and UAE / GCC Oil & Gas or EPC experience
