About the role
The Civil Quantity Surveyor will manage project costs, prepare cost estimates and Bill of Quantities, and ensure construction projects stay within the approved budget. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants and subcontractors to maintain accurate commercial documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for civil and construction projects.
- Perform quantity take‑offs from architectural, structural and civil drawings.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, material quantity calculations and interim payment applications.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, monitor project expenses and variations.
- Prepare variation orders, assist in tender preparation and coordinate with site engineers, consultants and contractors.
Required skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience with quantity surveying software.
