Civil Site Engineer

About the role

The Civil Site Engineer will support structural construction projects for Midas Building Contracting in Sharjah. The role focuses on day‑to‑day site execution, ensuring works match technical drawings and coordinating with contractors and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily field execution to ensure compliance with structural drawings and quality standards.
• Liaise with main contractors, subcontractors and project managers to keep construction schedules on track.
• Perform detailed quantity take‑offs, review Bills of Quantities and verify on‑site measurements.
• Inspect ongoing structural works for adherence to engineering specifications and local safety codes.
• Maintain daily progress logs, document site observations and assist in resolving engineering challenges on site.

Required profile

• Diploma, B.Tech or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1–2 years of active site engineering experience in the UAE, preferably on commercial or industrial projects.

Required skills

• Interpretation of structural drawings.
• Quantity surveying and take‑off calculations.
• Review of Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Site execution and coordination.
• Structural quality control.
