Claims Consultant – Quantum & Claims Specialist

About the role

Currie & Brown is seeking an experienced Claims Consultant to join its Dubai office. The role focuses on quantum and claims management across high‑profile construction projects in the Middle East, supporting project leaders to deliver exceptional service and successful outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate claims advice and reporting to clients.
• Deliver projects, commissions and professional assignments on time and to a high standard.
• Lead the setting of objectives and priorities while working proactively as a team player.
• Maintain effective communication and liaise with managers to ensure efficient financial control.
• Undertake commercial and claims management services with limited supervision.
• Support team leaders in cost management of projects.
• Represent the company professionally, meeting, negotiating and building strong client relationships.

Required profile

• BSc or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
• Ideally pursuing or holding an LLM in Construction Law.
• Middle‑East experience and professional membership of MRICS.
• Minimum 8 years of construction industry experience, including at least 5 years in claims within a PQS consultancy.
• Proven experience in quantum administration and client‑facing, diplomatic roles.
• Ability to advise legal teams on technical aspects of construction disputes.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and general contracting principles.
