Cleaning Supervisor

About the role

Al Sultan Bakeries and Markets Group is looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across its bakery facilities in Abu Dhabi. The supervisor coordinates cleaning staff, enforces hygiene and sanitation standards and keeps the workplace clean, safe and organised. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff.
• Ensure bakery facilities meet hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor cleaning schedules and inspect completed tasks to maintain quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Train, guide and support cleaning personnel to improve performance.
• Identify cleaning needs and report maintenance or sanitation concerns.
• Ensure compliance with workplace cleanliness procedures and hygiene policies.
• Coordinate cleaning activities so they cause minimal disruption to bakery operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience supervising cleaning operations; experience in bakeries or food production facilities is advantageous.
• Understanding of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, workplace safety and facility hygiene standards.
• Ability to supervise staff, delegate duties, monitor performance and keep cleaning schedules.
• Good communication, organisation, attention to detail, reliability and problem-solving skills.
• Nationality preference: Indian nationals, particularly from Kerala.

What we offer

• Estimated salary of AED 2,800 to AED 4,000 per month.
