Clinic Coordinator

About the role

The Clinic Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for surgical patients throughout their journey, ensuring seamless coordination of appointments, investigations, and admissions. This role supports patients with preparation requirements, insurance approvals, and financial counseling while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical patient registrations, appointments, follow‑ups, and requests, guiding them through pre‑operative assessments and admissions.
• Manage operating theatre (OT) bookings in collaboration with surgeons, anaesthetists, nursing teams and ensure all investigations, consents and clearances are completed.
• Liaise with radiology, laboratory, pharmacy and patient administration to facilitate multidisciplinary requirements.
• Handle insurance pre‑authorizations, financial counseling, and monitor approval turnaround times.
• Maintain surgical booking databases, prepare reports on volumes, OT utilization, cancellation rates and patient satisfaction.
• Escalate patient concerns and operational issues, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in surgical services coordination, patient administration, hospital operations, or healthcare coordination.
• UAE healthcare experience is an advantage.
