Clinical Intelligence Analyst

About the role

The Clinical Intelligence Analyst will support the Outpatient Cluster by turning complex healthcare data into actionable insights. Working within the Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre, you will help improve clinical quality, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance through robust reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance reports, extracts and dashboards for quality, clinical, operational and accreditation purposes.
• Use database programming languages such as CCL and SQL to extract and manipulate data.
• Analyse healthcare data to identify trends, gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical quality and process‑improvement teams to monitor key performance indicators.
• Support regulatory and accreditation reporting, including DOH/DHA, Jawda, Tasneef audits and Joint Commission International standards.
• Validate data outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with database programming (CCL, SQL) in a healthcare environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
• Experience working with clinical quality or process‑improvement teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation reporting requirements.
