Clinical Psychologist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our healthcare team. The role involves providing psychological assessment, therapy, and support to patients with a wide range of mental health conditions, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to deliver patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and therapy sessions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Provide evidence‑based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or other appropriate modalities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Offer crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute psychological distress.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Participate in case discussions, supervision, and continuous professional development.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available support systems.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid license/registration as a Clinical Psychologist in the UAE (DOH).
• Clinical experience, preferably in a mental health hospital.
• Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
