Cloud & DevOps Lead

About the role

We are partnering with a leading UAE institution that is building a digital‑first, AI‑enabled financial services organization. This is a unique chance to shape the cloud infrastructure, engineering practices, and operational foundations from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day delivery of Cloud & DevOps capabilities across the organization.
• Manage cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation.
• Drive quality, timeliness, and strong control standards in engineering operations.
• Continuously improve processes, procedures, and operational best practices.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and other compliance requests in a regulated environment.
• Proactively identify and escalate risks to ensure operational resilience.

Required profile

• 8+ years of Cloud & DevOps experience, including hands‑on delivery and team leadership.
• Proven track record delivering Cloud & DevOps capabilities into production.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience working in banking, financial services, or another regulated environment.
• Ability to drive operational excellence while maintaining governance and controls.
• Experience supporting audits, reviews, and regulatory requirements.
