Cloud Ops & DevOps Lead (Azure)

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Ops & DevOps Lead (Azure) to design, build and scale Azure and hybrid‑cloud environments for a leading enterprise. You will create a secure, scalable foundation, operationalise AI services and drive cost efficiency through FinOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy greenfield Azure environments using a landing‑zone approach.
• Integrate and manage Azure AI services such as OpenAI, AI Search, Document Intelligence and Content Safety.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Manage API lifecycles via Azure API Management and Kong.
• Drive cloud cost optimisation and monitoring (FinOps).
• Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Azure cloud experience.
• Expert‑level proficiency with Terraform.
• Strong network architecture knowledge (VNETs, Private Link, firewalls).
• Experience with Azure API Management or Kong.
• Ability to produce clear architecture and design documentation.
