Cloud Security Engineer – 12-Month Contract

About the role

We are supporting a leading organisation in Saudi Arabia that needs an experienced Cloud Security Engineer on an initial 12‑month contract. The role is ideal for a specialist with strong experience designing and securing large‑scale cloud environments, especially within the banking sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures across enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain cloud security standards, frameworks, and roadmaps.
• Support security initiatives across cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Embed security guardrails, Zero Trust principles and best practices across platforms.
• Review and optimise cloud‑native security services and configurations.
• Design secure network architectures, segmentation, and connectivity solutions.

Required profile

• 6+ years of Information Security experience, with at least 3 years focused on Cloud Security.
• Strong hands‑on experience securing large‑scale cloud environments.
• Banking sector experience is highly preferred, especially Saudi Arabian or GCC banking.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or Microsoft Azure Security Engineer are a plus.
