Cluster Commercial Director – Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island

About the role

The Cluster Commercial Director will lead commercial strategy and revenue performance for Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, working closely with operations, revenue, sales, marketing and other senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual commercial strategy, budget and commercial focus process.
• Drive total revenue performance across rooms, food & beverage, spa, events and other revenue‑generating departments.
• Partner with the Director of Operations, Revenue, Sales, Marketing and other key functions to meet or exceed commercial targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, Hilton Worldwide Sales and business partners to generate new opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing commercial team across sales, conferences, marketing, PR and reservations.
• Ensure commercial systems and tools are fully utilised and integrated into daily decision‑making.
• Review and approve sales contracts, proposals and pricing strategies in line with forecast targets.
• Deliver the hotel’s commercial revenue budget and support the Cluster GM and Finance team in achieving TGOP and EBITDA targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years in a senior commercial or revenue‑generating leadership role within UAE hotels.
• Proven experience presenting strategic commercial plans to senior executives.
• Demonstrated ability to grow business, build trust with ownership and asset management.
• Experience across multiple disciplines, including marketing and e‑commerce.
• Strong background working with departmental financial data for strategic decisions.
