Cluster Painter & Polisher – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Cluster Painter & Polisher ensures that all painted, polished and decorative surfaces across the hotel meet brand standards. Working in both guest‑facing and back‑of‑house areas, you will maintain the visual quality of rooms, public spaces and furniture. The role combines routine maintenance with occasional refurbishment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform painting, polishing, varnishing, staining and finishing works throughout the hotel.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks and applying primers.
• Mix paints, stains and varnishes to achieve required colours and finishes.
• Carry out touch‑up painting and corrective works in guest rooms, corridors, restaurants and offices.
• Polish and restore wooden furniture, doors, decorative panels and fixtures.
• Repair minor surface damage such as scratches, chips and cracks before applying finishes.
• Respond to maintenance requests, complete work orders promptly and support preventive‑maintenance programmes.

Required profile

• Experience in painting and polishing within a hospitality or similar environment.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal disruption to guests and hotel operations.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand presentation standards.
