About the role
Responsible for receiving, unloading, and processing deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and safe handling of packages in a hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process deliveries, matching invoices and receiving reports.
- Stage merchandise by department, label appropriately, and deliver to the correct location.
- Verify and track inventory, complete reports and logs, and reconcile shipping invoices.
- Handle incoming and outgoing department packages and mail, ensuring secure storage and delivery.
- Follow hazardous material shipping regulations and maintain a safe receiving area.
- Communicate with guests regarding packages and report any loss or damage.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, moving through confined spaces, and navigating stairs or ramps.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
