About the role
As the Sales Manager for Banyan Tree Dubai and Delano Dubai, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and brand visibility, focusing on the leisure segment. You will attract high‑net‑worth individuals, vacationing families, luxury travellers and leisure groups from key international and regional markets.
Key responsibilities
- Drive leisure revenue by targeting affluent travellers, luxury vacationers, families and leisure groups across key source markets, leveraging holiday packages, exclusive offers, seasonal promotions and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and execute leisure‑focused sales strategies for Banyan Tree Dubai and Delano Dubai, creating tailored initiatives, packages and promotions that align with each property’s luxury positioning.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, luxury travel advisors, DMCs and key leisure partners, fostering repeat business and brand advocacy.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, bookings and market trends, providing regular updates and adjusting strategies to meet business objectives.
- Stay informed on leisure travel trends, emerging source markets and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Revenue Management and other commercial teams to ensure seamless guest journeys and optimise overall hotel performance.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of sales and business development experience, preferably in the luxury hotel industry with a strong focus on the leisure segment.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing new business and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of luxury leisure travel, source markets, travel trends and distribution channels.
- Experience working with luxury hotels, resorts, travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs or luxury travel advisors is highly desirable.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems for managing accounts and tracking leads.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with hotel sales systems and commercial reporting tools.
