CMA Exam Trainer / Finance Instructor (Part-Time, Remote)

About the role

A part-time, fully remote position in the United Arab Emirates is open for an experienced CMA Exam Trainer / Finance Instructor. The role delivers finance and management accounting instruction focused on preparing candidates for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) examination, guiding learners through key topics, explaining financial concepts and supporting their progress through structured lessons and assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver online training sessions covering CMA examination topics and core finance principles
• Teach management accounting, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost management and performance analysis
• Explain financial statement analysis, internal controls, risk management and decision-support concepts
• Develop lesson plans, study materials, practice questions, mock examinations and revision resources
• Guide learners through examination techniques, question interpretation and time-management strategies
• Use practical business scenarios and case studies to link theory with workplace applications
• Assess learner performance, give constructive feedback and track progress while adapting teaching methods
• Stay up to date with CMA syllabus updates and examination requirements
• Maintain training records, attendance and progress reports, and recommend improvements to course content and delivery

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance, management accounting, financial analysis or professional education preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Previous experience teaching, tutoring or preparing candidates for professional finance exams is an advantage
• CMA certification or progress toward the CMA qualification is an advantage
• Excellent presentation, communication and instructional skills

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of management accounting, financial planning, budgeting, cost analysis and performance management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and online teaching or presentation platforms
• Ability to teach independently and deliver structured lessons
