CNC Machine Operator

Key responsibilities

• Set up and manage CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling and turning operations.
• Translate engineering drawings into production dimensions.
• Monitor machine performance, adjust parameters, and record production and quality data.
• Load and unload raw materials, perform daily maintenance, coolant monitoring and equipment cleaning.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet client specifications and conduct in‑process measurement and visual inspection.
• Troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime and manage tool setup according to cutting‑tool lists.
• Maintain scrap level monitoring and complete required documentation and SFC data entry.

Required profile

• Trade School accreditation or High School diploma (or equivalent); engineering certificate/diploma is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating CNC milling and turning machines.
• Proven ability to interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
• Commitment to housekeeping and 5S standards in the work area.

Required skills

• CNC machine operation (drilling, grinding, milling, turning).
• Tool setup and heat‑shrink fit, dynamic tool balancer usage.
• Coolant monitoring and equipment cleaning.
• In‑process measurement and visual inspection.
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
