CNC Machine Operator – Power Section Manufacturing

About the role

The CNC Machine Operator will manufacture power‑section components (stators and rotors) for oilfield directional drilling equipment. The role requires strict adherence to SOPs, quality checks, and safety procedures in a high‑temperature manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, overhead cranes, forklifts, boilers, generators and air compressors to produce stators and rotors.
• Follow detailed manufacturing procedures, SOPs and job‑hazard analyses for each process step.
• Perform quality control checks at each stage and document results in the ERP system.
• Maintain tools, gauges and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and storage.
• Report any abnormalities, safety concerns or process variations to supervisors.
• Assist maintenance technicians during critical breakdowns and support repair work.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with solid basic math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, routers and technical documents.
• Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic and basic electrical systems.
• Experience with safe use of power tools and manufacturing equipment.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
