CNC Operator – Precision Machining (DMG MORI)

About the role

Burjline Builders is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to run high‑precision DMG MORI milling and turning centers in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering parts that meet tight tolerances for demanding industries such as aerospace and tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate 3‑, 4‑ or 5‑axis DMG MORI machines, loading raw material, installing fixtures and selecting cutting tools.
• Read, edit and execute Siemens Sinumerik programs using G‑code/M‑code or conversational programming, and perform first‑piece inspections.
• Inspect finished components with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges and CMM to verify compliance with GD&T specifications.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, monitor coolant and lubrication levels, and troubleshoot tool wear, chatter and spindle issues.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Recent experience operating DMG MORI CNC machines (DMU, CMX, NLX, NTX or similar).
• Proficiency with Siemens Sinumerik controllers (840D, ONE, ShopMill, ShopTurn).
• High school diploma, GED or vocational certificate in machine tool technology.
• Advanced ability to read engineering drawings, CAD prints and GD&T callouts.
• Expertise with hand‑held measuring tools and gauge blocks.

Required skills

• DMG MORI CNC machine operation (multi‑axis milling & turning).
• Siemens Sinumerik programming and parameter adjustment.
• G‑code/M‑code and conversational programming (ShopMill/ShopTurn).
• Precision measurement using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges and CMM.
• CELOS user interface on DMG MORI machines.
• Basic CAM software knowledge (Mastercam, NX, Esprit).
• Machining of tough materials such as Inconel, Titanium, stainless steel and tool steels.
