CNC Programmer – Router Machines

About the role

Sunreef Yachts is looking for a skilled CNC Programmer with hands‑on experience in router machining to support marine, composite and large‑scale manufacturing projects. You will create, optimise and validate CNC programs to achieve high‑precision results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for router machines using CAM software, preferably PowerMill.
• Generate toolpaths, run simulations and troubleshoot errors before production.
• Support and operate multi‑axis CNC machines, including set‑up of tooling, fixtures and calibration.
• Optimise programmes for cycle time, material efficiency and machining quality.
• Monitor machining operations, adjust parameters for accuracy and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Maintain clear documentation of revisions and machining processes while following safety standards.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of CNC programming experience, router experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerMill and intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Alphacam and basic familiarity with SolidWorks.
• Ability to read CAD files and engineering drawings.
• Experience with 5‑axis, 3‑axis and C‑axis machining is an advantage.
