CNG Maintenance Technician

About the role

The CNG Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing preventive, predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance on CNG and hydrogen refuelling facilities. The role involves on‑site inspections, troubleshooting, and coordination with external contractors to ensure equipment integrity and compliance with HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform corrective and emergency repairs on electromechanical components such as CNG compressors, electric motors, switchgear, MCC rooms, priority panels, dispensers, cooling water circuits, PLCs, power panels and supervisory panels.
• Respond to end‑user complaints, visit sites, assess problems and carry out required maintenance.
• Monitor and inspect work performed by maintenance contractors, verify compliance with standards and produce written reports.
• Review preventive maintenance reports for chillers and other equipment, recommend replacements and ensure quality service.
• Guide contractors on utilities and as‑built drawings to facilitate preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Procure small urgent maintenance items using petty cash.
• Log and address maintenance requests through the SAP system.
• Conduct routine predictive maintenance tests and ensure rapid equipment return to service while following safety procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to carry out preventive, predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance on CNG and hydrogen refuelling stations.
• Experience working on‑site with electromechanical systems and coordinating with third‑party contractors.
• Strong adherence to HSE safety standards in hazardous environments.
