Coating Advisor

About the role

As a Coating Advisor in the Technical Service team, you will provide professional technical advice to customers, offering on‑site support for paint application and inspections to ensure specifications are met and projects are completed to the customer’s satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers, contractors and applicators on surface preparation and paint application, and conduct coating inspections.
• Monitor projects for compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
• Prepare technical inspection reports and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot coating‑related challenges and recommend practical solutions.
• Support sales colleagues with technical expertise throughout project execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all work follows Jotun’s HSE standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in paints, coatings, corrosion protection, offshore or infrastructure projects.
• Preferably experience with PFP or intumescent coatings.
• Relevant certifications such as NACE Level II or FROSIO Level 3.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Valid driving licence (UAE preferred) and availability to travel abroad as needed.
