Commercial Administrator

About the role

deugro is seeking a Commercial Administrator to join its team in the United Arab Emirates. The role supports global project freight forwarding operations by coordinating across regional offices, managing commercial data, and ensuring clear communication with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the central coordination point across regional offices and functions, tracking project status, priorities and updates.
• Monitor actions, follow‑ups and key deliverables to prevent gaps in communication and execution.
• Own and manage CRM and project‑tracking tools, ensuring projects are logged, updated and commercially accurate.
• Develop and maintain project pipeline trackers, client dashboards and status reports.
• Lead the preparation of monthly commercial reports, consolidating data from global offices into executive dashboards and performance insights.
• Prepare high‑quality management presentations, steering‑committee packs and project summaries.
• Support marketing and business development by coordinating capability decks, case studies and client‑facing materials.
• Build and enhance internal trackers, reporting systems and processes to improve workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, heavy haul or marine industry.
• Strong understanding of all transportation modes (air, ocean, road, rail, barging, heavy haul, rigging).
• Good knowledge of international and domestic geography, key cities, airports and seaports.
• Basic understanding of commercial terms, project tracking and reporting.
• High attention to detail and strong follow‑up capabilities.

Required skills

• Strong experience with CRM systems and project‑tracking tools.
• Proficiency in data dashboards and reporting tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
