Commercial Director – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Director to lead the sales and revenue strategy for Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas, a premier beachfront luxury property on Saadiyat Island. The role combines high‑level commercial planning with deep relationship management across elite travel networks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a sophisticated sales strategy targeting corporate, leisure, MICE and ultra‑high‑net‑worth segments.
• Develop and maintain preferred‑partner relationships with elite travel consortia such as Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, Traveller Made and Ensemble.
• Manage a portfolio of key accounts including GCC royalty, private‑aviation clients, family offices and luxury DMCs.
• Represent the property at global luxury travel events (ILTM Cannes, Arabian Travel Market, Luxury Travel Exchange, Virtuoso Travel Week) to generate high‑value demand.
• Produce analytical production reports benchmarked against brand performance scorecards.
• Champion the property’s narrative in partnership with corporate marketing, ensuring brand fidelity across all touchpoints.
• Forge strategic alliances with luxury lifestyle publications, fashion houses and cultural institutions.
• Collaborate with Revenue leadership to develop pricing, forecasting and segmentation methodologies while safeguarding rate parity across all distribution channels.
• Provide commercial intelligence for weekly strategy meetings and long‑range business planning.

Required profile

• Proven track record in luxury hospitality sales strategy and revenue growth.
• Extensive network within prestigious travel consortia and agency channels.
• Experience managing high‑profile accounts across GCC, private aviation and luxury DMC sectors.
• Strong analytical capabilities and familiarity with revenue management principles.
• Ability to represent the brand with gravitas at international luxury forums.
