Commercial Manager – Dryport

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial activities of our dry‑port operation. The role is responsible for driving TEU and tonnage growth, revenue, profitability and developing strategic customer relationships across the UAE terminal network.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy to increase TEU, tonnage, revenue and EBITDA.
• Own sales targets, KPIs, pipeline and profitability objectives, both individually and through the Sales & Marketing team.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performance commercial team.
• Grow strategic customer accounts through retention, volume growth, cross‑selling and long‑term relationship management.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities across container, general cargo, bulk and integrated supply‑chain solutions.
• Develop pricing, contract, tariff and commercial strategies to ensure sustainable revenue growth.
• Prepare customer proposals and tailored commercial solutions in close collaboration with terminal operations.
• Build strong relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, trade bodies and strategic partners.
• Utilise CRM, market intelligence, competitor insights and customer data to manage the sales pipeline and support decision‑making.
• Partner with senior management to identify market growth opportunities and strengthen the dry‑port’s competitive position.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial leadership within logistics, transport or related sectors.
• Track record of achieving sales targets and driving profitable growth.
• Strong coaching and team‑development capabilities.
• Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market data into commercial actions.
