Commercial Process Specialist

About the role

The Commercial Process Specialist will own contract drafting, SAP/S4 transactional processing and ensure procurement compliance across trucks, vessels and containers. The role safeguards accurate, audit‑ready documentation and prevents gaps that could lead to audit findings.

Key responsibilities

• Issue contracts, amendments and Letters of Award for awarded truck auctions and negotiations.
• Upload awarded and spot‑negotiated rates for trucks, containers and vessels into SAP/S4.
• Create service codes for new destinations, routes or transport modes.
• Prepare truck permits and maintain a central contract register.
• Review and approve vendor invoices against rates, contract terms and delivered services.
• Support invoice reconciliation and resolve documentation discrepancies.
• Prepare procurement memos, PRC documentation and coordinate contract review and approval routing.
• Maintain organized records for contracts, purchase orders and approvals for audit readiness.
• Flag procurement process gaps and documentation risks to management.
• Onboard new service providers, manage vendor master data and arrange special access permits.
• Report procurement process status and outstanding risks to the manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commercial, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification in procurement, contract management or internal audit (preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, contract administration or SAP/S4 transactional roles.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA (SAP/S4) for transactional processing.
