Commercial & Procurement Manager

About the role

Makeen Properties, the real‑estate arm of the Ghobash Group, is seeking a Commercial & Procurement Manager to lead commercial management, procurement, contract administration and related business processes across its diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial assets in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Review commercial proposals, pricing, payment terms and exclusions; track budgets, commitments and expected costs with Finance and project owners.
• Own procurement planning from approved requirement to award for consultants, contractors, suppliers and service providers, including RFQ/RFP coordination and negotiation.
• Lead commercial review and negotiation of consultant appointments, works contracts, supply and service agreements, renewals and other material business arrangements.
• Maintain signed contracts, track deliverables, payment milestones, renewals, expiry dates, warranties and securities; coordinate variations and final accounts.
• Define and improve commercial, procurement and contract workflows, applying delegation of authority, segregation of duties and documented exception controls.
• Support procurement and commercial review for development, refurbishment, asset enhancement and operating contracts, obtaining quotations and specialist input for acquisition capex assumptions.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Commerce, Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field (practical experience may be considered).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, supplier negotiations and contract coordination, including managing procurement activities in the UAE.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills; ability to compare offers, identify exclusions, review commercial terms and track budgets and commitments.
• Proficient in Excel with good communication and follow‑up abilities.
