Commercial Project Manager (ERP & Finance)

About the role

The Commercial Project Manager will lead the commercial side of the AGORA ERP implementation for Siemens Energy’s Gas Services division and later transition to manage on‑shore commercial projects. The role combines financial controlling, contract oversight and risk management to ensure project profitability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the commercial aspects of the AGORA ERP rollout, acting as key user and data steward.
• Manage full project financials – revenue, cost, gross profit, cash flow, forecasting and Estimate‑to‑Complete calculations.
• Maintain accurate project books, cost and pricing records and ensure readiness for audits.
• Oversee compliance with Financial Reporting Guidelines, tax regulations, transfer pricing and Letter of Approval requirements.
• Administer project guarantees, bonds, insurance and foreign‑currency risk in line with corporate hedging policies.
• Validate commercial and contractual feasibility during hand‑over, support procurement, logistics and spare‑parts delivery.
• Certify supplier and subcontractor invoices and process payments according to project standards.
• Conduct lessons‑learned activities and feed improvements into organisational knowledge bases.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Significant experience in commercial project management within large‑scale engineering or energy projects.
• Proven track record of financial controlling, reporting and risk analysis.
• Strong understanding of contract management and compliance frameworks.

Required skills

• SAP (experience with AGORA ERP preferred).
• Financial reporting standards and budgeting.
